Great post Nick. I almost thought that I stood alone in my love for SNL. Without it, phrases like “Party on”, “Superstar!”, and “More cowbell!” would mean nothing to us. You can’t beat the greatness of live tv.

I’ve never been an SNL watcher, but I thoroughly enjoyed Aaron Sorkin’s short-lived Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip drama last year, and I got the feeling that it was loosely based on an SNL type show. I respected the hard work and dedication that went in to making a new show every week, and now I might just have to give SNL a chance
