Vote for Bob: The Resignation

"I will not seek, nor will I except the office of President of the United States. It has come to my attention that the people want more; they want to know how I have done things and when I had done them. I was not really prepared to answer such difficult, personal, and invasive questions. It also seems that while there is no company by the name of Bob selling any product, my use of 'What Can Bob do for you?', 'Bob I’m loving it', and 'Bob The Choice of a New Generation' is in violation of some kind of law that I was not aware of.
"I also feel like I need apologize to the American people, when I was questioned about if I had anything to do with Allof Bob’sOppentsAreWrong.com my answer was no. While legally that was true, I did have a relationship with that site that was inappropriate, in fact, it was wrong. While I am not sure if Mike Huckabee was letting air out of old ladies tires and while one will never know if Obama and McCain had a secret alliance, I am sure that a portion of it could be true.
"I know that I said I would run a different kind of campaign, I know that I said that I would be different, I broke people’s hearts. My mama had always told me, to be careful what I do, not to go around breaking young girl’s heart. She also told me to be careful what I do, before the lie becomes the truth. The lie had become the truth, and that is why it is time to go.
"I want you to go out into the world and find another candidate to vote for, I want you to be strong, to be strong for me. I hope that he or she takes good care of you, because if they don’t, then I will be there. Just call my name, and I’ll be there. Know that where ever you go, what ever you do, I will be right here waiting for you. What ever it takes, of how my heart breaks, I will be right here waiting for you.
"It hurts to know that I failed, but what hurts the most, is being so close, and having so much to say, and watching you walk away. Never knowing what, what could have been, and not seeing that I am loving you, is what I was trying to do. I can tell you that I am glad that I did not know, the way it all would end, or the way it all would go. Sometimes, our lives are better left to chance, I would have missed the pain, but I would have had to miss, the dance.

Fantastic! Had a good laugh early in the morning. Thanks, Michael. There’s a great movie in there. I’m thinking about John Goodman in the lead role… Paul Giamatti would be great too!
