Marty, your comment was automatically labeled spam because you shared a link in your comment. We don't encourage SEO comment spam, so we don't allow any links to be shared in comments. I've removed the link so it will pass the spam filter.

Because I don't get it.

I am also anti facebook, however I have a few blogs, am a big fan of linked in, and have dabbled on myspace (trying to hook up with old girlfriends- jk, not really). I work in internet marketing, so I understand the power of social networking, social media, viral markeing. I listened to a bunch of twitter nerds talk about it at an SEO conference years ago, and I logged on, and just didnt friggin get it. I still don't, and have became a passionate anti-twitter advocate since the CNN vs Ashton twitteroff somehow became newsworthy, signifying the eventual end of the world.

I don't care what you are doing, or what your business is doing. If I did care, twitter is certainly not the place where I am going to find out about it. I am also not under the impression that anyone cares what I am doing, and I am a completely awesome person.

So I hate Twitter, and am leading the anti twitter army at theantitwitter.com

I hate Twitter, but it is cool to hear the other side of the story. Most unfortunately, I realized that when it comes to marketing your blog or business online, Twitter is a force to be reckoned with.
